Pamela Gabiger has over 20 years experience in the Personal Injury Litigation Field.  She is experienced in Family Court and Child Custody Matters.  She served as Law Guardian representing the rights of children and also has fought for parents. 

Pam received an Associate in Arts Degree in Humanities from Dutchess Community College in 1984.  She then went on to the State University of New York at Albany where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in 1986 with honors.

While serving personal injury clients in a Law Firm in Albany, she attended Western New England College School of Law in Springfield Massachusetts evenings where she earned her Juris Doctor Degree in 1998.  She ranked number 2 in her law school class her first year.  She received the Award Letter of Academic Excellence for Outstanding Academic Achievement for obtaining the highest grade in Civil Procedure.  She is admitted to practice in all New York State Courts and the United States District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts.

From 1999 to 2002 Pam was an Associate Personal Injury Litigation Attorney in a Major Hudson Valley Law Firm where she negotiated six and seven figure cases. In 2001 she produced over 2,000,000.00 in fees. She prepared for and attended over 75 examinations before trial in cases involving scars, fractures, permanent injuries, injuries requiring surgery, cases involving automobile accidents, falls, product liability and labor law cases and cases valued at $500,000.00.  She successfully obtained arbitration awards for injured clients.

*Some of her more recent results are listed below:

$110,000.00 for shoulder injury and $99,000.00 for scars and eye injuries

$100,000.00, the full amount of the policy limit for a disc injury

$75,000.00, intertrochanteric hip fracture requiring surgery

$75,000.00 for concussion and other injuries in a car accident

$96,549.60 for groin injury that weakened pre-existing degenerative low back condition which was a minimal addition to the progress of a preexisting degenerative condition (Arbitration award)

$50,000.00 for aggravation of preexisting soft tissue ankle and wrist injuries

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

2002-2005 Served on the Board of Directors of the Cunneen Hackett Cultural Arts Center

2004 earned a Certificate of Completion for the Domestic Violence Counselor/Advocate Training of Battered Women's Services

2004 Volunteered to help victims of domestic abuse and participated in a community walk to raise awareness of domestic abuse

2005 earned a Certificate in recognition of completion of the 2005 Business Institute of the Poughkeepsie Area Chamber of Commerce

2005 participated in the heartwalk to raise awareness of heart disease

2006 attended the Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast

2007 supported the Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast
